Our Recycling Project

At Community Connect, our mission is to provide top-notch community support services to individuals in need. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all our clients. Our recycling project aims to teach clients important job skills while also contributing to the preservation of the environment. We have been recycling since 1987! Clients pick up recyclable white paper and cans and bottles at various offices in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Each client has varying skills that we help to foster and grow within the recycling project. The contents are transported directly to the recycling center, where they are separated and weighed. The money collected from the recyclables goes to pay clients' wages. Clients have opportunities while in program to spend their earnings on various items within stores we visit. Some purchase clothing, while others purchase treats and snacks. They love earning money!
